We are currently working on a new house build with a well respected builder in the Waikato area. The project is in the design stage and is a 3 bedroom house with an ensuite off the master bedroom and internal access from the garage.
While the design is not ground breaking, it is aimed at being ergonomic, economic and user friendly with great storage and open plan lounge – dining – kitchen with easy indoor / outdoor access to outdoor dining and garden areas. Using all our many years experience in Architecture, we are going the extra mile to add some subtle Architectural design features that will make a visual difference to this home setting it apart from the standard production homes that are currently available, yet still on a reasonable budget. Additionally, we are working to provide a home that will be designed to take advantage of passive solar heating coupled with appropriate insulation with a pod type concrete floor to exceed the current insulation requirements. We are still developing this design and will be soon moving to building plans and then costing.
